Pero's Bridge and Swan by Lucy Baik

Lucy begins by sketching the place and animals, then refines and traces the drawing to transfer it onto lino, which she carves and prints by hand using ink applied with a roller.

One day when Lucy was  lost in my humdrum life she chanced upon this beautiful scene of Pero's Bridge. She decided to turn this into a jigsaw linocut, and add a swan, as animals are a constant motif in her work.
